Just a little US East Coast DJ since 1990. Have work various size rooms and venues. Have worked the mobile scene - weddings, karaoke, private parties. And, have held several residencies over the years. My music of choice is good European and UK House. Got started DJ'ng during the big 90's Euro/UK House boom in the the US. I can live with what is popular these days because the one lesson I have learned about DJ'ng is that it is about the "PEOPLE". Also, I am a enjoy-er of all music, every once in awhile - elevator music even beats out all others - its all about the mood.

Some suggestions to eliminate weird hums, noise or feedback, try using a one of the following:

1. Ground Lift plug on your mixer --Lift Plug here

2. Instead of regular RCA cable from soundcard to mixer use a ground loop isolator for each channel --Isolator Here

3. Then lastly it could be simply dirty power, try using this to plug your gear into instead of a surge bar --Battery Backup here

*This is really handy for those that have external harddrives, will save your @$$ if there is a total loss of power on those mobile gigs. Plus, most backup devices also work as power conditioners to help clean up that dirty power.
